FAQ

How does coaching work?
Faith-based coaching blends personal development with spiritual principles. The coach works with clients to help them achieve their goals, overcome challenges, and find purpose. This could include using scriptures, prayer, or faith-based values to guide decisions and actions.

What are the standards and ethics of coaching?
Coaching standards and ethics are grounded in integrity, professionalism, and respect for the client, guided by a commitment to honor God in all interactions. Coaches uphold confidentiality, maintain clear boundaries and practice within their scope- prayerfully referring clients to counseling or other professionals when deeper therapeutic care is needed.

What happens in a coaching session?
In a coaching session, the client is welcomed into a warm, supportive space where they can reflect, gain clarity and feel heard without judgement. Together, the coach and client prayerfully explore goals, identify next steps and use practical tools to turn insight into faithful action. The session is grounded in trust, encouragement, and accountability, creating an environment that nurtures growth and forward movement aligned with God's will.

How much does it cost?
Faith-based coaching is an intentional investment in you- your growth, your purpose, and your intimate walk with God. At Vita Nova, I believe the long-term impact- clarity, alignment, and strengthened faith- far outweighs the cost. Since Vita Nova offers several services, pricing details is discussed during your Discovery Call.

Is coaching biblically grounded?
Yes. Faith-based coaching is rooted in scripture, prayer and biblical wisdom. It honors the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26), encourages renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2), and values wise counsel (Proverbs 11:14). Sessions are prayerfully led, anchored in biblical faith, and focused on discerning God's direction rather than relying solely on human strength (Proverbs 3:5-6).

What is the difference between coaching and counseling?
Counseling is typically centered on healing and processing past wounds, emotional pain and/or mental health concerns. Coaching is forward-looking and focuses on where you are now and where God may be leading you next. Faith-based coaching provides a grace-filled, prayerful space to discern direction, strengthen confidence, and take meaningful steps forward in your calling, while honoring both your faith and your season of life.
